In 1874, a family of notables from Santa Margherita Ligure, who had made their fortune in the Antilles, decided to settle on a point of the town that dominated the Portofino Gulf and the sea, building a patrician villa.
This is how Villa Gelsomino was born — welcoming you with the opulent elegance of its frescoed ceilings and original Genoese-grit floors, perfectly preserved.
